At Training Point we understand the positive effect high–quality training resources can have on your sessions, and in your business. Preparation time is shortened, credibility and variation are added to the session. Different learning styles are also accommodated.

External professional development courses can be in excess of $1000 per person, per day. Keeping your staff up–to–date and fully trained is a costly exercise. At Training Point we offer hundreds of training DVDs ranging in price, format and style to suit a variety of needs.

The average cost of a locally–produced training DVD is around $500–700. It’s an upfront cost, but a very economical long–term investment. Once purchased, the training DVD is yours to keep and use whenever needed. As the Americans say, “do the math”

An example of one DVD @ $600, used for five years:

– Shown to 10 people a year = $12 per person

– Shown to 25 people a year = $4.80 per person

– Shown to 100 people a year = $1.20 per person

Even used in relatively small groups it’s an incredibly economical and effective way of supplementing and enhancing training. We also know that popular and successful training films are used for in excess of 10 and 15 years.

Learning styles has long been a topic of discussion among educators and trainers –research shows that delivering information in a variety of styles ensures far greater retention. Using a training DVD adds both a visual and auditory aspect to your sessions – a highly sought–after element by trainers.

At Training Point we will continue to bring you the very best in locally–made training DVDs, as well resources from the top producers around the world.
