ABOUT US

Established over 40 years — originally as First Training — Training Point offers a wide range of audio-visual resources to busy, time-starved learning and development professionals and senior managers.

2008 saw some major developments for Training Point, as we relaunched into the production of films, and the acquisition of the Ash Quarry brand. Since then we have produced dozens of Australian programs for both Training Point and Ash Quarry.

In 2009, Video Arts appointed Training Point their sole and exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand, of their fantastic range of films. We have very recently launched Video Arts’ digital products so now you can access more than a hundred titles when and how you need them.

Our full catalogue contains over 1000 programs, including Lessons from Geese, our international bestseller. The catalogue also features programs from leading producers around the world, not only Video Arts, but Supernova, Quality Media Resources, Star Thrower, Fenman and Media Partners, just to name a few.

Training Point exhibits at The National AITD Conference each year in April which gives us a chance to meet our valued clients face to face, and to showcase new products and services that are designed to help make your training sessions simple and effective, and to engage your learner’s attention, so please be sure to stop by and see us! We are always keen to hear from our customers and training and development professionals about the resources they need, so please contact us on info@trainingpoint.net.

At Training Point we understand the positive effect high quality training resources can have on your training sessions and the overall development of your organisation, and how different styles of learning can be accommodated by a great training film. Keeping your staff up to date and fully trained can also be a costly exercise, at Training Point we offer hundreds of training films with support materials, ranging in price, format and style to compliment your custom-made training sessions, or to fill any gaps you may have with individual self-study, using films to develop your learner’s is only limited by your imagination.

Learning styles has long been a topic of discussion among educators and trainers, and research shows that delivering information in a variety of styles ensures far greater retention. Using a training film adds both a visual and auditory aspect to your sessions, highly sought after elements for trainers.

Even used in relatively small groups it is an incredibly economical way of enhancing and supplementing training, we also know that popular and successful training films can be used in excess of 10 or 15 years.
